Durell Anthony is an American singer-songwriter whose smooth, soulful sound blends timeless influences with modern pop appeal. Inspired by icons such as Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Lionel Richie, Brian McKnight, and John Legend, Durell has cultivated a distinctive style marked by his signature falsetto and expressive songwriting.
Originally from Atchison, Kansas, Durell gained national attention on Season 20 of NBC’s The Voice, where his moving rendition of Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On” earned him a spot on John Legend’s team. The performance resonated widely with audiences, amassing nearly two million views across Instagram and TikTok.
Throughout his career, Durell has shared the stage with celebrated artists including Yolanda Adams, Miles Caton, and Carrie Underwood, contributed vocals to television projects for Disney, Fox, NBC, Netflix, and Peacock, and performed for organizations such as Bank of America, BMW, Chick-fil-A, Coca-Cola, the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells, the Marcus Allen Foundation, California Secretary of State Shirley Weber, and more.
